Juana Pfadt

I work with individuals navigating pivotal life transitions, processing past experiences, and exploring deeper questions of identity, purpose, and direction. You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. Many people I work with experience social anxiety, general anxiety, depression, or trauma-related stress, often functioning on the outside while feeling disconnected or on edge internally.

I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy and integrate mindfulness, DBT-informed skills, solution-focused strategies, and motivational interviewing. Our work is thoughtful and practical, balancing insight with tools you can actually use, while remaining flexible and paced in a way that feels sustainable.

My Approach: Collaborative

We work together toward your goals, and I am not here to tell you what to do or rush you toward change. Therapy is a space to slow things down, make sense of patterns, and understand how your experiences have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others. Connection is central to this work, both within the therapeutic relationship and in how you experience connection in your life beyond therapy. We are wired for connection, and when it feels difficult or unsafe, it can leave us feeling isolated, even in spaces where we deeply want to belong. Rebuilding that sense of safety and connection, internally and relationally, is often where meaningful change begins.

I show up as myself in the room. I bring warmth, authenticity, and humor when it fits, and I believe therapy does not always have to feel heavy to be meaningful. Above all, I aim to offer a safe, supportive space to explore what you decide needs to change and what might be ready to stay the same.
